When you step through the front door you step back to a time where hunting clubs dotted our coast. Imagine yourself in the golden era of water fowling as you browse our gallery. Grab a book off the shelf and pull up a chair in front of the fireplace and learn about Carteret County's strong hunting and fishing history. Or just sit back and imagine yourself preparing to venture out on a cold winter morning to a crude stake blind posted somewhere in Core Sound or Davis Bay in anticipation of the arrival of that flock of Redheads lighting in wooden blocks bobbing up and down in the surf, and then take a part of that history home with you.
