Buddy Dixon

Buddy Dixon is an award winning taxidermist bringing home a ribbon in his first ever competition and several after that. In 2006, he was awarded best fur bearer at the NCTA convention in Salisbury, NC.

Buddy graduated from the Missouri Institute of Taxidermy in 2005. That same year he along with his brother Kyle, opened Call of the Wild Studio in his home town of Beaufort, NC.

Being an avid hunter and fisherman has allowed him the ability to study animals in the wild and bring those experiences to his work. He specializes in game heads, waterfowl, fish, game birds and life-size mounts as well as habitat.

There is a true art in preserving the natural look of wildlife. Buddy strives to capture that in all of his work.
